Chasing Gold Katie Ledecky leaves Tokyo with Four Medals, Team USA Headed for the Podium in Baseball. With a time of 8:12.57, she won her third gold in the 800-meter freestyle. In Tokyo, it was her last race there.

After three Olympic games, Ledecky has collected six gold medals, the most of any female swimmer. Olympic Games in Tokyo, she won four medals:

  • Gold in the 800 and 1500m freestyle events
  • Silver in the 400-meter freestyle event
  • Bronze in the 4×200 meter relay event

For Paris 2024 and maybe LA 2028, she plans to compete for a berth on Team USA. Just have a little patience, and don’t be sad that her Tokyo run is ended. Instead, choose to smile since it occurred and will probably happen again.
