The Changing Fundamentals of US-China Relations 2022

There are fundamental ways of changing the U. S.-China relationship. Both the counties are engaged in the war of trade from an economic perspective which is intensive and costly. This engagement has been so intense that even negotiations will not provide long-term stability. On both sides, particularly in terms of China, bureaucratic processes are trying their level best to keep up with the growing diversity and complexity of relationships that are considered global in scope and consequence. The relationship between the US-China has risen to different levels as compared to the past.

U. S.-China Relations in Asia

As continent Asia is increasing its long-term importance to the United States and the world, China is rising a challenge to the United states’ interest. As Asia has become the continent with 20 nations with the fastest improving economy. It is the cause of two-thirds of global growth and constitutes 40 percent of global GDP. When we shift our vision towards the population the continent is producing the largest middle-class population which is expected to become 2.3 billion in 2030. Asia also constitutes the world’s standing largest armies, it also has 6 out of declared nuclear states. The United States has five allies with different treaties in Asia. The treaty about the Indo pacific is the exceptional one. Since China has been rising as an economical giant to trade with the world’s most living middle class, the United States is watching its threat to its economy and is trying to lay barriers in the ways of china. In shaping the new global order both the US and China have multiple interests in this region.

U. S.-China Relations Security issues

Expansion of bilateral competition to make their structures more powerful has alarmed the relations of both states. These competitions include security, economics, technology, and ideas about governance. The old shattering relations due to economy and security are deepening with the new concept of race in technology and governance. In recent times the president of the People’s republic of china warns Biden against playing with fire over the Taiwan issue.

Economy

Xi has made new plans for the control of the economy and corresponding scepticism about market forces. In sum, the competition US-China in terms of economics is structural due to an amalgamation of Xi’s priorities and ambitions, spending too much on industrial policy, and the highly prejudiced policies used to implement the former. Indeed, China’s rising economy has a huge effect on worldwide supply and demand. due to china’s policy, global financial markets, the structure of global supply chains, and the situation of every compulsory player in the market impacting that the United States needs to care about even minor Chinese economic policy moves.

Conclusion

The world has already been facing different problems like global warming, pandemic population growth, and poverty. World leaders should meet to tackle these problems instead of introducing new crises in the world.
